Most of Friday was work and school. Work for Mitchell. School for me. We went to Citrus Grill in Draper for dinner with M's parents and one of his brothers. It was actually really good. We approve. And after dinner we went on a date to Carmax. Really.
See, before we left
Anyway, the day before we left
One thing I'm trying to get better about though is listening to our parents. They're not perfect but they often know what they're talking about. Since we were planning on going down to one car for now anyway (there's no point in having two when we only ever drive one and M is out of town every other week and works from home the other week), Mitch's mom had suggested that we sell my car but keep Mitch's. (His is completely paid off.) At first neither one of us liked the idea because, well, his is old too. And old cars have to be repaired. It's a fact. But the more we thought about it, the more it makes sense. So we're doing that. Hooray for not having a car payment (Ash, are you proud?) and hopefully it works out for the better.
