Aside from hanging our Canadian flag, we also celebrated Canada Day with our annual Canada Day party. The party was kind of an indoor/outdoor party and, aside from wishing we'd bought a new grill for the occasion, it turned out pretty well.
I forgot to pull out the camera until half of our guests had already left and most of the food was gone. Too bad, too because I liked my "theme." Everything (the invitations and the little card labels at the food table) was in English and French (just like in Canada). And, in addition to our "regular food," we had Nanaimo Bars and Canada Dry gingerale. We also had a hockey game playing. (Guess who won.)
And most of all, we loved seeing all of our friends.(Forgive the lighting on half of my pictures. I know how to zoom in and out and press the take button. Mitch is the one that knows how to do everything else.)
We really do have good friends.
Two of my sisters came as well. Sarah brought her friends and Emily brought her puppy.
And that was Canada Day. (Minus pictures of the food and decorations and the other half of our guests.)
