Spring!

For the last week or two I have been watching the tree in my front yard (and intending to get pictures). I love that tree in the spring. It starts out bare, then gets these little brown buds, and then all of a sudden, it blooms.

And then my tree is covered with these gorgeous little pink and white flowers.


Eventually the flowers fall off and the tree just has leaves.

But for that week or so, it's just beautiful. (And, I'm sure it goes without saying that it's even more beautiful in person.)

Ah, spring...
