New York City!

Only hours after Ashley's graduation, we jetted off to New York City for a night.  (I love New York City.)

With the time change and the long flight (I wondered if we'd ever land), we didn't get in until late, but luckily our hotel was pretty close to the airport.  Except that, we had some issues with the shuttle and actually getting to the hotel.  The hotel shuttle was delayed for some reason, so after we'd already waited for a long time, Marriott sent a town car to pick us up instead.  But then, the town car couldn't find us (??).  We eventually ended up taking the shuttle for some other hotel that was across the street from ours instead because I was done waiting.  Marriott felt really bad (even though it wasn't anything they had control over, they'd been going out of their way to update us all along, and they'd sent a car specifically for us), so they upgraded us to a suite and gave us (an amazing) complimentary breakfast the next day.  We love Marriott.

After sleeping in and checking out, we left for Manhattan.

I don't know what it is about the city that I like.  You just step off the train and it's just... New York.

We saw all the big New York things the last time we were there, so this time we were able to just walk around and enjoy visiting.  We made it to Times Square, Central Park, and Dylan's Candy Bar.

And then, after a long (long) day of walking tons and seeing tons, we got onto another flight.

We'd originally booked seats next to each other, but the flight wasn't full and it was an overnight flight, so Mitch let me have our row to myself and he took an empty row across from me.  He was pretty proud of himself for snagging the empty row before anyone else.

We were both pretty tired after our day in New York, so it didn't take either of us long to lay down (and/or fall asleep).

Looks like the path is Central Park was clear, with plenty of room to dance and sing "How Does She Know?" Did you? You forgot to include those pictures.
